Santen’s video box with a 3D video animation was created to satisfy 3 different needs; to promote their new product, educate surgeons about its uses and explain its role in glaucoma surgery to patients. Our creative team worked closely with international partners to produce a creative multipurpose video box containing a 3D video animation and other informative tools to educate surgeons and patients respectively.
The main purpose of the video box was to present the new Preserflo MicroShunt implant to surgeons and educate them about the medical procedure involved so that they could in turn better explain it to their patients.
To further emphasize on the characteristics and functionality of Santen’s Preserflo MicroShunt implant, the 3D video animation was accompanied by a detailed leaflet in the video box to explain the benefits and role of the implant in more depth.
Modelling the implant in a three-dimensional space allowed to design the implant with the upmost precision, involving an in-depth depiction of its general appearance and texture, but also of its role in glaucoma surgery.

Through an active exchange with our scientific & medical community, we endeavored to create an educational and multi-purpose video box featuring an impactful and visually pleasing 3D video animation, a 3D-engraved crystal tool and leaflet that would accurately showcase the benefits and role of Santen’s Preserflo MicroShunt implant in glaucoma surgery.
